CONTEXT

These innovations have found their way into our daily lives, showing the surprising impact of space technology on consumer products.

DAVID CARSON
RAY GUN

Ray Gun was an American '90s alternative rock-and-roll magazine. As art director, David Carson challenged conventional typography and design, transforming the magazine into a visual and cultural icon. His ability to convey emotion while disrupting norms, without losing the essence of the content, makes his style a perfect match for a publication exploring the unexpected outcomes of space exploration.

The design of this publication draws inspiration from David Carson, the former art director of Ray Gun. Carson’s work is known for its bold and experimental style, which aligns perfectly with the theme of unexpected discoveries and the serendipitous nature of these inventions.
