CONTEXT
Despite significant government efforts, cycling infrastructure in Antwerp remains inadequate and sometimes even dangerous in many places. With the elections just around the corner, this is the perfect time to highlight the social importance of safe cycling to policymakers.
RESULT
The concept received attention from various media sources and quickly spread through newspapers, radio and television, reaching a widespread audience.
An installation featuring humorous solutions to the obstacles cyclists encounter every day. A coffee machine to make the long wait at traffic lights more bearable, shock absorbers from a scooter to absorb shocks, airbags and a five-sided roll cage.
